Actually Jason is selling his car and trying to get a LS460. A guy in Charlotte is buying his car soon.

We just had a Cars and Coffee/Acurazine meet this past Saturday in Charlotte. It was a pretty good turnout, 20 cars or so. The NC crew has started to dwindle, nobody comes out to meets anymore. I PM people all of the time about meets and I get blown off.

If Faiz isn't already shooting another car event, I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming out with the AZ crew. Plus having another TL wouldn't hurt!

I'm trying to get more NC guys roll with me but I'm sure I'll be the only one again. Mitzi and I will be driving up the night before and staying overnight the day before the meet. I'll gladly pay for a hotel over getting up at the ass crack of dawn to drive up.

and actually, i didn't end up going to that baby shower. my stepfather had a massive heart attack this past thursday and died. he was 64yo. random and shocking event to say the least...

I'm so sorry to hear

I've somewhat been in that boat before. My mom had a mild heart attack when I was in 4th grade and it happened right in front of me. She wasn't even 45 and nowhere near being overweight. Luckily she recovered and she's doing better now, but my family and I have yet to forget about it. I got diagnosed with hypertension when I was 18 and I take a pill every morning for it. I think about that day every time I open the pill bottle.

yeah it's scary stuff. the guy was bulletproof. def not the call i expected thursday morning. when i first got the call from my mother, i could hear in her voice that something was wrong, at first i thought my golden retriever had bit the bullet, didn't think i'd hear what she told me.
if i learned anything from all this, it's don't take life to seriously. keep your stress down, and relax. my stepfather did everything 150% full throttle, constantly stressed and angry at everything, high strung, type-a personality. people aren't supposed to drop dead randomly with no warning signs at 64. but, everything will work out eventually.

On an unrelated note, I was about to leave for work the other day and I saw a hole on my passenger side tail light. I haven't even had those inn for a good two weeks and now a have to make another one since their custom.
It seems like the hole was done by mistake, by who? who knows.
