$260 Remote Start Installed- Annapolis

Hey guys, I found a guy that does great installs on remote starts for TL's at $260 installed! And he comes to you. The unit he installed in mine was the Avital 4103 which is made by DEI (Directed Electronics). He lives in Annapolis so price may vary if he has to drive far. It took him a little less than 2 hours and the work was great. This included the bypass and two remotes. It remote starts your car, locks, unlocks, trunk release and maintains oem remote with memory settings. No need to leave a spare for the bypass and it has this convenient feature which can keep the car running while you run into a store or something without having the keys in. It's a great unit and I think for the price installed including the bypass and him coming to you it's worth it! I've asked him a bunch of questions and he seems to know what he's doing, he's been doing it for 12 years and knows a lot about Honda's/Acura's. Hope this helps!

So you have to carry around 2 key fobs? The factory Acura one and the one for the remote start? Or is it an AIO?

It's all in one remote but I carry both. The remote start trunk release is a bit slow so I use the oem. They both work.

he got back to me today, and were installing it next thursday.

i love to do my own installs...if i can. but after looking at the bypass module and the FAT install instructions book i got from the dealer...i'm in way over my head. i'd rather pay someone to drive to my work and do it right. i don't like messing with electronics/wires too much unless i know exactly what i'm doing.

"do i cut the red one?"
"do i cut the green one?"

"which one man!?!? this thing is gonna blow unless you make a decision!"

He's located in Annapolis, so it'll be a haul for him lol. But he'll havit it done in 2-2 1/2 hours. Just remember that this is the basic install, found out afterwards. There is an auto defroster option that won't be hooked up, and another I believe. The only one that is hooked up is remote start, unlock, lock, trunk release (takes longer to hold to open). And you can leave the car running without having the keys in if you want to run into a conveience store really quick. Also let him know now how long you want to have the car running. 12 minutes, 24 minutes and etc. Originally I had it at 12 min but found it was too short as I'll be doing something and it'll shut off soon. So I have it set at 24 now.
