i definitely agree with that i have 2 friends with k20's they've been running boosted cars for almost 2 years with no problems internally. But that is with proper maintenance. there just strong cars in general.

i love my 03 rsx. the engine is a work of art like said before. i love the sounds and the feeling of going well over 140. it handles like a dream. the interior is simple and doesn't have alot of bells and whistles which means there is less to go wrong but there is still stuff that does. overall the rsx type s or not is a great car might not be as luxuiours but still cool!

What I like best about the RSX is its simplicity -- not a lot of gadgets or the Starship Enterprise inside. I'm reminded of that scene in Alien, some time after they knocked off Ash's head then had to plug it back in for a little chat:

Ripley: "You admire it."

Ash: "I admire its purity."

That and the hatchback (can fit my bike in there! ), speed, handling (suspension's like a Cadillac compared to my '03 Cooper-S ), looks, reliability, and best of all ... it's paid for!

umm... good on gas, sounds lovely, I always get people staring and shouting compliments. It loves to catch other people for races lol and it's fast for what it is. I cannot wait to start throwing some mods on this summer.

I love the body lines on the car. Mostly the K20 motor under the hood, the unlimited possibilities for that motor.

I love how good the K20Z1 responds to my basic bolt ons.

Also the gas mileage, even though I get around 7000rpm's multiple times per day. And accelerate quite fast.

I like the subtle body changes made compared to the 02-04 models and how it feels like driving a nimble carving scalpel. I just wish I had a rwd instead, and that the red paint wasn't so soft/easy to swirl and etch up.

I liked my RSX, I picked it up at the end of 2002, and its just over 100k today, garaged for my oldest daughter in a couple years since it was paid off couple years ago and still in great shape. I now roll the 2010 TL SH-AWD w/Tech & HPT and the resale value just wasn't worth giving up the car for so little in such a great shape that I could pass on.

Great gas mileage, even stock has nice pep for moving around town, work, school etc. Didn't do any mods to it as when I had a 1997 Civic with JDM B18A modded to the teeth some jackwagon stole and stripped it clean (course insurance pricks only would restore to stock!) I just couldnt afford it at the time so, moved on and got away from the scene...

As far as cargo, well thats what the XL sized Yukon Denali is for My RSX trunk space was fiber glassed with 2 12" JLs so nothing ever really went in the back of it hehe. And it being hatchback that puppy hit nice and clean! Oh Tweets up front were a bitch to replace in the dash!

Just joined - but man, it's tough on RSXs in here.

Just flipped 176k on my '03 RSX-S. And that damn K still starts and runs like new. And blasts to 7.5k just like it did when new. 8 years in, and it still makes me smile. Except...

...it's too bad clambering in the back to get the new family addition in his seat is such a pain in the backside. Shopping for '08 TL-S 6MT or '10 TL SH-AWD 6MT, but still haven't figured out if I'm going to sell the S or store it for future tinkering.

I have an 04 type s with the 06 type s engine with type r cams I/H/E and hondata tune with vtec kickin in at 5100 and fully adjustable coilovers. What i love more than anything is the ride of the car with mods if feels like no other car ive ever driven. The sound is incredible, and i love spinning my z rated tires with ease to piss off my neighbours.

still an owner of an 03 rsx, fun to drive and the car itself can look sick in many different ways.
