What do you like most about your RSX??
Guys come on, they added the rsx section so try and respect people who have them. The other Acura's may be more luxery but the rsx is still a good car. If I had an rsx and looked in these threads I wouldn't come back on A-zine

Well I, would actually like to know what people like!
Hopefully we'll get some more RSX owners in here soon, I know nothing about rsx's and would like to gain some knowledge.

I have a 2004 TL. Ms1995hoo has a 2003 RSX Type-S. I don't ridicule the RSX owners at all. It's a fun car and I find that it can be more practical for some things than the TL due to the folding rear seat and the hatchback. My #1 positive on the RSX is probably just that, the trunk/folding rear seat, because it's come in very handy quite a few times (football trips with the cooler and other tailgate stuff; picking up the 40-inch flat-panel TV from the store when it wouldn't fit in the TL's trunk; stuff like that).
The Type-S sure is fast for a car with such a small engine, too.

I like how they look. At first they seemed too tall and simplistic but over time they have contrasted very well with modern cars. If I had never seen one until now I could believe it was a new model. I'm grateful that other people do the dirty work of actually driving them on a daily basis so that I can see them pass by on the road.

I don't own one but I have driven enough of them to say the car just begs you to drive it hard. The sound of the engine hitting Vtec and roaring to 8K RPM is very satisfing.
If only it had an armrest.

What do I like about my RSX?
- coming up on 100K trouble-free miles
- still fun to drive after 6 years of ownership
- the vtec kick in the pants at 6k rpm (and the sound that goes with it due to my K&N Typhoon intake)
- taking it to redline never phases it
- convenience of owning a hatchback
That's about it. I can understand Acura's decision to discontinue the RSX, but don't agree with it.

The K-series motor is a work of art.Hey dont forget to check out our NSX forums

i have a 98 integra, but i test drove two rsx-s at the dealership...one was just bone stock and the other with simple bolt-ons and was impressed from stock motor performance to the moded motor. those k-series love the bolt-on mods and its just GO TIME!
My apologies but I removed your home page and signature since we only allow paying vendors to show commercial sites. We would also appreciate it if you didn't post the link or mention it in your posts or threads.
I loved my 02 RSX base-manual. I liked the gas mileage and it always seemed like it wanted to accelerate fast. I wish I had gotten a type S, but I did have the advantage of using regular gas. I averaged 27-35 and didn't drive like a grandma.
The hatchback/folding rear seats was very convenient and forgot about it till I read the previous posts, especially when my trunk relay went out and couldn't open the trunk.
It was a great car to drive and in my opinion looked better than the SI.

i personally am i big fan of the design of the car. i love the curves and points the rsx has. I love the interior and quality that comes out of this car. Theres alot of mods you can add to get the rsx where you want it to be and costs efficient!
I have had mine for almost 6 years, The way it handles, looks, and performs I have installed Type R Cams, T Body, Intake ECU Upgrades, Eibach Suspension for close to 70,000 Excitement filled miles deemed to be a modern Era classic
Without a doubt what sold me was the driving position and viewpoint of road. It was like nothing i've experienced before. It gives one a visceral feeling of fun and excitement. HOWEVER, if you live in inclement weather areas YOU MUST wear winter tires during the snowy/icy seasons (the best money can buy) or take your chances with fate and unforgiving physics.

They open up really well with i/h/e and a tune
