Water pump replacement.
Replacing water pump on 2004 rsx type s (K20z1 block instead of A2 block). I am in serious need of help. I've got the Pulley tensioner and power steering pump/reservoir out of the way, oil cooling line removed from water pump, and every bolt except one out of the water pump. There is one bolt that literally sits inside of the pulley part of the water pump, just above the alternator, and there is seemingly no way to completely remove it. I have attempted to research how to replace the water pump on an rsx and have found less information than any single other subject I have ever read about the car. Does anyone know how to get at this bolt? A special tool maybe? Has anyone even changed their own water pump on this car? It seems excessively difficult, I could have pulled the entire engine faster.
