remote starters for an RSX

my dealership said that install an after market remote started is a bad idea. they do NOT sell factory models. has anyone had any experience with this issue?

My girlfriend's Dad says the same thing, but I work at Bestbuy and we are always putting in After market Remote starts into vehicles and I've never heard of any issues
