shifting problem
Although this is a great site, you might want to go to and search there. They have a lot more information for you. What year and how many miles on it? Do you have an extended warranty on it as well?
Very common problem for most people, luckily I've had no troubles with it yet.
But lots of people can't get into 3rd when their at high RPM's in 2nd and same with first to second.
Sometimes a transmittion fluid flush would help. Other times, it won't.

ow yeah i herd it was 3rd and 5th gear with these cars.. i just hit 60k miles on it ima du the tranny flush next week hope fully that will help .. btw its not that bad rite now maybe 1 once week that will happen that i cant get it into 3rd

Yeah my 3rd gear only gets wacky one a month or so.
But I got a Skunk2 Shift Knob (Heavier) and will be getting a shortshifter soon.
That helps a lot of peoples problems, easier to shift into the gear. But that could be a good, easy fix.
Not sure if you do much racing but a shortshifter is sweet to have.

VERY common on honda trannys. 2nd gear grind and third gear wall. had the same probs in my 05 type s.
there is someting called syncromesh or some tranny additive for the syncros. the third gear wall is from weak factory syncros and 2nd gear grind is from hard revving on a weak tranny, we all know how fun 2nd gear is on the rsx-s. and we always beat the shit outta 2nd..
to fix all of this really u need to upgrade your clutch to heavy/organic clutch.
