My 2 month old 2016 ILX doesn't want to remember my mirror settings. It remembers the seat settings just fine - they change with the different key fobs or if I press the Driver 1 or 2 buttons, but absolutely nothing happens to either the driver or passenger mirror no matter what I do.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Our '16 ILXs have mirror memory?



id love that, but I honestly don't think it's a feature on the ILX.

 

Well how about that - I went back and checked the Manual carefully, and I guess you're right! Every mention is only "driver's position memory".

My wife's 2013 RDX has the whole shooting match - memory external mirrors along with the seat position.

Baffles me why Acura wouldn't include that with the seat position memory??

2016 ILX has no mirror memory. Sucks. I noticed Honda does that too. It probably doesn't cost anything to add it, as it's just software. My other cars have mirror memory. Luckily my wife and I are able to drive it without changing the mirror settings.

 

Noticed this on Acura site in the "Specs" section for 2017 ILX. I wonder if the side mirrors are now also controlled by the driver seat memory?

 

I just bought a demo 2017 A-Spec Premium in Catalina Blue Pearl with 1,000 miles and my mirror memory does not work.
It is listed in canadian spec sheet for that model year.
I made sure it is linked to keyfob in vehicle settings menu.
Seats memory, radio settings, climate control all works fine, except outside mirrors.
I have a visit booked at my dealer to check that out.
