Windshield Sealant

So as I was cleaning the car the other day I ended up peeling some stripping/ sealant back a bit. The consistency is gooey and sticky. You can see where the actual weather stripping starts versus the stuff I'm describing. I'm just wanting any and all suggestions to fix or hide this blemish. I'm pretty maticulous and OCD about my vehicle if I am able to have any hand in fixing it.

Also if I should have added this topic elsewhere other than the Ilx forum let me know. I honestly didn't feel like spending more time on finding the perfect forum to post other than what I actually own.

Will also mention it's been in the high 90s on average here.
