I have a 2015 illx and I have my battery recently replaced after it died, with a oem Acura battery and ever since then my trunk doesn't always open from using my key fob button. My mechanic told me that I needed to take my car to the dealership and have them update the software that will cost me 150 dollars or more. Can anyone advice me for a cheaper fix??

 

Could it be the actuator for the trunk release?

 

Have you changed the battery in the fob? Mine does that when the fob battery is weak.
