So I went to change the passenger headlight bulb and the lights are still not working. Could it be a wiring problem? If so best way to fix it.

Both lights not turning on? Or just one side?
Halogen or HID?


Fuses are the first part to check (interior one i believe), both to check for a blown one, or if there is power continuity in general to the box.
If power is good there, its a matter of tracking down the wire diagram from the ServiceExpress website to trouble shoot it.

 

Just the passenger side but that is taking a back seat since the car won't start anymore possible starter altinator starter or fuel pump problem.

 

it's a newish car...unless youve been feeding it poor fuel, no issues with the fuel pump.
start with the basics, is the battery good and throwing 12 volts when the engine is off? then move on to troubleshoot the starter.

 

Perhaps try swapping bulbs (from the ones that works on the driver side) to ensure you didn't get a defective one. If that still is not working it is possible the ballasts is defective for the HIDs? I doubt it's wiring.
