I have done this before with the drivers side and had no problems whatsoever.

Just finished replacing the HID bulb in the passenger side and it still does not come on. It is not flickering, and never did before with the old bulb either, it is just not coming on at all so from what I understand it is probably not the ballast.

Anyone have any ideas that may help? I greatly appreciate any helpful advice.

 

Ballast or ignitor

 

Are they fairly simple to replace or is rewiring required?

 

Pretty straightforward. Attached to the bottom of the housing, just buy OEM ballasts

 

Yeah, easy once you get the bumper off. And the bumper is not too bad and it's really easy after you've done it a few times. There are a few good youtube videos on replacing bulbs/igniters/ballasts and removing the bumper.

 

Great! Thanks guys. Ill go ahead and replace the ballast and igniter both since they come together for only 10 bucks more.

Just gonna have to run the fogs until then lol

 

I have 2 sets for $100 + Shipping each.

That has to be your issue if the new bulbs don't work.
