Hey all,

New to the group, first post in fact. My wife hit one of those parking curbs at an angle yesterday and there was not any seeming damage. Today on her way to work on I95 she calls me to tell me she hears a metal scraping sound, only at interstate speeds so assume 70 to 90 MPH but at low speed, nothing which tells me she knocked something off the bottom of the car yesterday. She sent me the following photo upon arriving at work. Any ideas on what it might be and if it creates a driving safety issue for her tonight? I plan to investigate it myself at daylight tomorrow as well.

Looks like they left screws out when doing oil change

 

It's the splash shield plastic's, those clips for what they are, are expensive for one a dam clip.

If nothings ripped, should just be afew clips to fix. it fine to drive back home then you can see how many clips you'll need.

 

Yeah, if that is the front splash guard, I know that is a $130 fix because I had the same issue with mine when I bought it. The dealership needs to order it; it might not be available right away.
