Multi Information Display

2013 ILX Premium MT6---bought used, so I dont know---is there supposed to be an electronic display right below the MID, telling me what gear I'm currently in, or is there just nothing below the MID at all?

that's kind of what I was thinking. But that's great news because it means all systems are normal, although the manual gear shift display might be helpful sometimes or atleast cool.
