Hi guys,

I'm facing a weird issue where my navigation system would just restart when driving.

I have a short clip showing it happening when I lock the steering wheel.

Every time it happens, the navigation would reset (both screens), I would lose memory seat settings, I would get the ''Tighten Fuel Cap ' error, and also the driver proximity sensor would not unlock, but locking works fine.

The car starts just fine every single time, so probably not a battery issue I guess. Maybe a fuse problem.

Hi...any luck figuring out what the electrical issue is? I'm having something similar with my car, where I'm driving down the highway and when high-beaming (so the stupid slow car in passing lane can move over) the car seems to restart. Doesn't cause any jittering or stalling, but I'm wondering if this could lead to a more serious issue.

 

Hi Yes, I did. It was the battery back then, even though I was less than a year old at the time.

Replaced the battery and never had the issue again
