Replacing stock speakers

Hello! So I recently thought of changing my door speakers as I am not happy with the stock output. I am driving Acura ILX base 2017 and got the JBL Stage 3 607C component system for front doors and Alpine S S65S for rear doors. Upon installation I didn’t feel much difference also the installer guy said the crossovers for JbL are damaged. I bought them a week ago and couldn’t agree on him. Now just after a day or two left door speakers(F/R) both stopped working to which I am not sure as to get the rear one replaced with JBL only or should stick to Alpine itself as I feel the stock amplifier isn’t taking too much load for such heavy speakers.
