I am looking to buy a pre-owned ILX (w/o NAV) in the '13-15 year range. I was wondering if there was a way to get Waze or a capable navigation system that can do waze/android auto. The aftermarket stereos I see aren't fully compatible with the ILX of the years I am interested in. Mirroring my Galaxy phone would be acceptable too but I don't see a great solution either for that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

For the 13-15 premium you can get Navtool to mirror from your Android device.

The 16+ premium has a native HDMI port that you can miror by accessing the diagnostic menu.

 

I have a 2017 ILX with premium package which has HDMI port. I bought a cable thunderbolt to HDMI and plug it into HDMI and pushed Apps button. But I faced to purchase $59 of Acura Navi apps. Where can I find diagnostic menu? Thanks.

 

Most android phones are not MHL compliant even with the proper HDMI cables as this is old dying technology. Having said that, IF you have a HDMI port to plug in to then buy one of these and go wireless mirroring and open up your entire phone, yes even Netflix.
