xdtownx build

I figure its time to start my own build thread so here it is. My car is the 2.4L ILX as most already know. So far I have installed the following in no particulur order.

6000K LED DRLs
6000K LED Fogs
Blue led footwell lights and back map light
Blue led gas brake and clutch pedals
Acura logo ghost shadow lights
K&N typhoon SRI
Hybrid grill swap out
Plasti dip on wheels and part of grill
Nite shades on tail lights
Front lip from a STI (props to usdmjon)
Gorilla lugnuts
Full Race 3" down pipe
Full Race 3" exhuast
Tein S tech lowering springs
5% tint all around

Future work planned

Rear sway bar
True cold air intake
Flash pro and a tune from Vit(props to OSU)
Coilovers
Front splitter
Wheels once I ride the original tires all the way down
And Im sure there will be more but thats all I can think of at the moment.
Now some pice of my car

Ghost shadow lights are intalled on the bottom of the front doors and are ran with the footwell lights so they automatically switch on an off. LED pedals are ran to the fuse box on its own fuse and I installed them to a rocker switch.

Looks Good! Did you drill or cut holes into the hybrid pieces or did you just leave them the way they were? Curious if it affects the engine cooling or not.

I left them as is and I dont notice any differance.. Im going to install LED light strips on them though so when I do I will drill holes for the wiring and water to escape.

could I get you to do me a favor? Can you take a side profile pic so I can see how far the exhaust tip sticks out from the bumper? I'm thinking of cutting the pipe down by about half (between the muffler and tip) I think there's like 3 or 4 inches there and thinking it could look a little better it was like 2. No worries if not. Thanks man

Thanks man, appreciate it. If you could cut it back an inch or two to make it more flush would you?

Yo - Did you get any new rattles or sounds after the install? I'm got a new, pretty loud rattle. can't tell if it's from the exhaust or downpipe. I'll tighten everything up again but was just curious

No I didnt but I can tell you to double check the circular bracket to make sure its all the way tightend. I didnt at first and there was an air leak, no rattling on my end but might be rattling against itself in your situation. Also the pipe that goes between the rear suspention is really tight, I turned the muffler a bit to make more clearance just an idea though.

shit ok. I think it's coming from the downpipe right as it goes underneath the car. I'll poke around tomorrow a bit. Thanks
