Wheels: Need Help

So I have a set of wheels picked out that I want to purchase. The issue is that they are big... like 19" big. The SEMA car looked good, but I don't know if I want to go that big.

So I am asking for one of two things....

I need the feedback of folks to say they agree with me or that it would look stupid. The civic's look stupid with 19" wheels, but I think our body style has more potential to make it look better.

Wheels:
Stance SC-5ive 19x8.5" +35 Offset

Sorry for the monster size pictures. The pictures of the BMW are 20" and I believe so is the IS250. If anyone can find a wheel that is this design in an 18" wheel I will give you $20.

Thoughts or Opinions?

Cost of 4 wheels is roughly $1500.

The Lexus is a GS which is a little bit longer than an IS or ILX; if that makes a differrence as to how the wheels will look.

19x8.5 +45 is what the SEMA car was so if you think that's too big that's nearly identical to what you're wanting there. In my opinion it's only gonna look even worse if you dont lower the car because it'll look like a 4x4 truck.

I plan on lowering on a pro kit, but after owning my cobalt which was lowered on Stance-like Coilovers (Ksport Pro's) I have no desire to destroy my acura that fast.

RonJon Rev wheel in 18" has a concave style while maintaining a high enough offset for the smaller sized ILX. Here are some pics:

Comes in two optional colors, Graphite meachined gloss and matte black machined with redline, custom silver is also available:
