Water on the windows (Part 2)

I know I shouldn't start a new thread but I didn't want to keep on bumping the old one and I thought I should just address the problem in one go:

-Noticed as my window roll down and roll back up, there was water (soaking amount that I forgot to mention in the previous thread)

-Found comfort and realize I am just being paranoid after 4cruzin and others answered my question

-Then today I was testing it, I roll my window back/up then there is still water ! Its been a whole week since I drove my car ! It should not have water there anymore !

-I park in underground parking and despite being the rainy season, Canada is quite dry in the winter time

Called Acura and they say its not normal and my concern is valid considering how recent I just bought the car. Coming in for a check up and a free car wash Will update by the end of the week. Feel free to comment and also, it would really help if ILX owners can experiment with there cars to see if its a isolated incident. Despite me just being picky, I really think its better to be safe than sorry here.

I have the same problem, although it doesn't stay for more than a day. It bothers me because after a car wash if I open and close the windows, i'll get spots where the water dried.. Then I have to re-wash the windows. Looking forward to hearing about what they do about yours.

I don't think you're being picky if it's actually holding water. Would definitely take it in and let them try to sort it out, since the car is under warranty.

Problem solved. Dealer says as long as its not in the door then its not under warranty. Unless I want a full inspection which would cost +$100 plus.

Apparently not lol ! Look at the previous thread I made. So basically acura said its no problem and its normal to have water on it even IF its over a week due to winter.

I washed my car on Saturday and today which is 4 days later, I roll the windows down and up. All 4 windows still have water on outside. The 2 front windows are more wet than the back. I think this is normal. Cold weather here in Dallas.

Same

Same problem here, but only with the front side drivers door.

I did get a recall notice for the doors, so maybe I can convince the dealer to take a look at this at the same time they fix the recall issue.

Trentimus opened up his door panels and noticed that this is not an issue. Take a look at his thread.

There are even two layers of weather stripping on them. The material the weatherstrips are made of just retain water for whatever reason.

Rained all day today. Parked my ilx in the garage. Went down after I saw this thread.. My car was in there for 3 hours, rolled down window and back up, no water marks or streaks! I lucked out. Yay
