Hey guys so I just bought an ilx and I want to start modding it performance wise but I'm fairly new at this hobby so I was just wondering what kinds of tips I could receive on modifying the engine to make it a bit more faster and sound a lot better thanks much appreciated

 

Turbo or supercharge for faster. Sound, just get exhaust system.

What do you want to mod?

I ask this because majority of ilx owners do nothing but wheels and some plastidip, vinyl wrap, or lighting upgrades.

If that is the case then your path is simple.
If you plan on doing more then the best advice is wait for companies to actually make parts.

There was nothing for at least a year into the brand new 2013 ILX. Expect that or longer before mods for the 2016 are made available.

Seeing as how there is no manual most of the shops that made parts for the 2.4 ilx won't care to make anything for the new all auto ilx refresh.
