Spoiler/Underbody Kit Discounted Pricing

Hey guys, I've had a few PM's asking me about discounted pricing on the Spoiler/Underbody kit since I had mentioned that my girlfriend works at the Acura dealer I bought my car from. I was able to get a 20% discount on all body pieces.

The pricing is as follows - retail / discounted

Rear Spoiler - $399 / $319

Front Underbody - $450 / $360

Rear Underbody - $450 / $360

Side Skirts - $650 / $520

All prices are excluding tax and labor. They also do NOT ship parts out. If you want anything, you have to go there and pick it up or have it installed there. I suppose this would only benefit those that live in the NY, NJ, CT area. If anyone is interested in the whole kit or just the spoiler PM me and I'll give you more info on how to contact her and get this done.

Thanks for the update.

Not to steal your thunder but for those of us looking to get it shipped there is an AZine vendor OEMAcurapartsTim that quoted me $1,147.00 shipped for side skirts, front and rear lip spoiler. This does not include the trunk spoiler.

You could find the same/better pricing, but I wouldn't get it installed anywhere else besides a dealer, so if it's cheaper than msrp, then Im going with that.

It's not a hard install, I'm sure most of you diy'ers can handle that.

You can find them for like $280 shipped then + labor anyways. I mean it works if you're near him and dont wanna wait for it to come in the mail.

PM'd

I really don't see how more aren't willing to drop price for a bundle on the whole kit.. First one to give it for $1000 (without decklid) I'd be in.

For everyone else

www.dchautomotiveparts.com

I know it's not a forum vendor and that's for shame but these guys are the cheapest I have found for ANY OEM part on our cars.
I have successfully ordered twice from them. I can get the whole kit shipped to my house for less than 1,100 and the spoiler is less than $290 shipped.

Sweet...!

Question, when I look at the spoilers, the color names don't match the ILX's?

I ordered my oem lip kit and deck lid spoiler from there. Prices all include shipping.

I'm hoping to find a pre-owned ILX with the body kit already installed...not going to be an easy task though.

As far as the install goes, it should be really easy. I installed the OEM kit on my old GS-R and it was simple (and fun).

Its not as simple as after market stuff with just double sided tape and screws on each side.

Front and rear lips require bumper removal and a billion clips to remove and drilling. Side skirt is pretty easy but I would recommend installing this kit to be a 2 man job to make sure everything lines up right.

If I remember correctly its actually 3 or 4 holes per front and rear, double sided tape and patience. The side skirts require more work as far as appropriate lining up and trimming.

I was able to buy the full kit for $730 shipped through an Ohio Acura dealer via their eBay store.

Quick update: Got my car back from Acura's body shop yesterday. They installed underbody and rear spoilers for $200, although it somehow took them nearly three full days. Apparently it was only their third install. So in total, ~$1200 OTD for full OEM body kit and rear spoiler installed. Loving the look!

Exactly. I know a few people on the boards that don't do this professionally and were able to accomplish it faster. They said it was only their third job and that they screwed up the first one. Even Acura estimates just four hours on the installation website.
