Hey everybody.

After one month with my black 2014 Acura ILX 2.4, I'm still really enjoying the car. I love the way it looks and I have come out of the grocery store multiple times with people looking at it and asking me what it is. Feels cool.

The only thing is, as you can see by my earlier posts, the bass in the ILX is on the weaker side. I have a feeling it's the ANC drowning out the bass.

When I drive with the windows down, the bass in the car is dramatically better. My experience is typically the other way around with the bass being better with the windows up.

I think this is because with the windows up, the ANC is working at full potential and drowning out the bass. With the windows down, the ANC can't work and the bass comes through loud and clear.

What do you think? Think I am right? Do you think if I take it to the dealership that I can have them unplug the ANC?
