ILX Audio

Just got my ILX. Has 200 miles on it. Doesn't seem like I get clear audio regardless if I am in HD or analog. Seems like there is always bits of static. I don't have that in the Honda I own. Anyone else having this problem. I live in Northern NJ, only 30 minutes from NYC so should have no reception issues. Was wondering if possibly I have a defective radio. Any help greatly appreciated.

what i have found is that the radio tries to find the HD audio and i think those channels may have lower reception, just thinking after i hit send that i do have "reception" problems when the "HD" channels are selected

Funny, I have had my car for 5 months now and I have never tried the radio, only Pandora, SiriusXM, Bluetooth, USB, and HDD. I used to have horrible reception and static in my 05 Honda Civic, and got used to using USB and Bluetooth so I have never tried AM/FM. I will give it a try tonight and see how it works.

Ive had the car for over 2 years and not once used the radio. I have a 32g flashdrive with all my music that nevet leaves the car. That drive produces the best sound period.

Aside from that i have a few CDs saved to the cara hard drive.

As well my phone to stream bluetooth.

Three options but the radio isnt one of them.
