I totally hit that big liquor store in studio city off ventura and grabbed some rogue chocolate stout and this victory beer at 12%. Im in that area every other friday to hit a co op that just reopened out there.

I dont know anywhere to grab food so if you know a spot for beers and food well have to hit it up!

I forgot to mention they even hooked it up with an alignment and a rental car!

Definitely miss the ILX after driving a station wagon Jetta...

 

They better do the alignment or else youd need to go pay for one. And I read about the rental car. That is awesome. Congrats. Wish it were me.

I have a second roof spoiler for the 13-14 ilx for sale. Goes for 109 retail. Im selling it for 70 bucks plus shipping... for those local ill be in studio city this week. I can meet up and let it go for 70 bucks. Ill probably be out there thursday or friday night.

Car looks good!!! I seen you a few days ago as I was getting off the freeway heading to work, I was in the stock looking white ILX at the light

 

Are they doing CO's and Sportlines too or just the pro kit?

 

I'll actually be in in Chatsworth/Canoga Park area January 4th for a baby shower..

Eibach says 1.8 front and 1.5 rear. As far as ride and handling are concerned - the ride is obviously stiffer and has its moments of bumpiness, but the handling has improved significantly. Definitely recommend getting a thicker rear sway bar as it will be help with some of the roll.

niiice. did you only install springs? no aftermarket shocks?

 

I think only one person here jas aftermarket shocks. Forgot the username... his names aaron. D2 coilovers. The rest of us on springs used stock shocks.

 

Just got a nice birthday gift from Eibach. They would like to see my ILX for sway bar test fitting

 

So fucking cool. Totally jealous.

Just be sure to ask them about subframe tear out and what you need to prevent it.

Yeah extremely fortunate and lucky with Eibach. Will check if they will be making coilover applications for the ILX. Got a date towards the end of next week with them.

Also, going to be contacting Magnaflow since they are about 10-15 miles south of Irvine!

Also ask about sportlines? or if they are only working on prokit? If they are going to do sportlines I hope they make sportier shocks for us!

Had sportlines on my eighth Gen and wish it had shocks that matched... felt like it bottomed out on certain bumps

 

EK's used to have the subframe issues too, a freind of mine had his seperate when he upgrade to Type R RSB, but he did track the car often so Im sure that excelerated it

 

Still waiting on date to take the car in. They've been busy!!
