Arrow Dashcam hard wired help

Hi! I tried to hardwire my dashcam but it doesn't turn on. I tapped into slot 39 which is the "premium audio" fuse of 20A with a fuse tap with a 5A fuse for the camera. I grounded the other wire but it won't turn on. anyone know any other fuse slots that work? Accessory fuse 19 can't be used and anyone that used it is at risk cause a fuse tap won't correctly fit with the + side

Use a multimeter and check that you are getting 12V at the end of the fuse tap with 5A fuse. If not, the add a fuse is probably faulty or not crimped all the way. Most dashcams run on 3-5V and require a power adapter to change the 12V DC to 3-5V DC for the camera
