I believe that an 8-speed DCT ILX could be moderately competitive for autocross in the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) H Street class. To find out, I'm looking to co-drive with someone that is interested in bringing a 2016+ out to one or more local AX events around the Chicago/Milwaukee/Madison area. I'm fairly skilled at AX driving, both front and rear drive, and I can provide expertise and training if you're interested. I would expect to borrow some appropriate/competitive AX tires/wheels from fellow competitors to use at the event rather than using your streets. I'm looking at the ILX as an option that my spouse can drive when I'm not racing it. She's not into stick.

So, please drop me a note...there are potential events most weekends through September.

I'm back and now looking for an ILX co-drive experience in the Tampa Bay, FL area. If you are interested in some performance testing of your ILX, and an introduction to/training on local FL autocross, please drop a PM. There are events coming up in the Ft Myers area (1/5/20), up in Tavares (1/12/20), and in Venice (1/25/20). Always more in Feb and into March. Can't offer a co-drive swap at the moment, but can reciprocate in other ways.
