"Cruise Main" light stays on, on the dash - 16 ILX

a green light that says "Cruise Main" stays lit up on the dash, is that normal?

I dont know how to get rid of it

Hit the cruise control on/off button.

dont think there is on/off button

cruise/ cancel doesnt get rid of it

Hit the MAIN button above the Cancel button on the steering wheel it turns that on and off
