A/C Not Working

Hello everyone!
I've had my ILX for 7 months now, thanks to SF Bay Area weather, I never had the chance to test the A/C system. And now, well... it just blows hot/warm air even after leaving it on for 20 minutes. It has gotten so bad, it's better standing outside. Setting auto "Lo" or under 66 doesn't do anything either. Any advice? I have a dealer appt but it's a week away and the 80 degrees today... I didn't like.

OSUBeaver,
Yes it does. I thank whoever invented windows in cars or else I would've died.

Was it fixed? What was the cause? Funny thing about A/C, on Monday I have to drive my daughters old Honda Civic back home to the Bay Area from San Diego and the A/C is broken. For anyone who has taken this drive in summer you know what I'm in for. 9 or 10 hours of pure heat.

Drake3287,
It is now fixed. The cause was low ac refrigerant. At 12.8k miles, I wouldn't think I needed it that fast... There might be a small leak so they put dye in the refrigerant to see in the future. Those 9-10 hours must've been the best time of your life LOL...

My friends 2013 ILX Premium with just 10 K miles on it also needed a Freon charge. Wondering if that is an on going issue? Our 2013 Tech with 31 K miles has not needed any.

A/C is a closed loop system. if it gets 'low' EVER, there's a leak and the leak should be identified or you'll just keep topping off refrigerant.

260K Honda accord 1999 and the A/C still runs cold like the day we got it from the dealer, never had to fill refrigerant, ever.

It's definitely an issue..
