Hey hey,

New owner of a black '14 2.4L ILX here and I really do dig this car.

It's a great ride, good sound system, amazing shifter/gearbox, looks classy but aggressive, and gets decent mpg.

Thing is, I never see any others on the road! In Jacksonville FL, I never see them! It's such a nice car. Where are they?

 

Because Honda doesnt know how to market.

 

I see several a day, and a few at the university i attend.

It is increasing ....slowly yet surely.

 

I haven't seen too many on the road. It's not a smash-hit, if that's what we're hoping for.

They're rare on the road because the sales numbers have been relatively low.

Consider the fact that there have only been somewhere around 35,000 ILX sold since they went on sale in May 2012. Honda sells almost that many Accords every single month. Doesn't take a math whiz to figure out why the ILX is a rare sighting.



Personally I like the fact that it's really unique right now. But, it's also fun to see the occasional one on the road and give them a thumbs up.

 

Here in Toronto, I see them once in a while. I like it that way though, easier to distinguish in the parking lot!

 

See them everyday! Except I'm the only that's modded lol..

 

Here in Portland - I rarely see them. I've probably seen 2-3 since I bought.

 

I have only seen 6 since its on sale date back in 2012. And when I do see them it's last minute notice because the car shows up whenever I'm not looking. It's like seeing a Legend, I'm never looking for one when I see them.

I'v seen one in a Walmart parking lot, one getting off the off ramp, sitting behind a store (that was sitting with a '13 ZDX as well, I'll attempt a picture because they are always there) and the rest were just randomly in town.

All of them were PMM.
