Hi, 2015 ilx base so it was 98F according to my car and i had the a/c on medium air speed and low and i would hear the compressor click on and then off over and over every like 10-15 seconds. is this a normal operation? I was still burning but the air coming out was colder noting crazy like a freezer but cold like a cheap home ac which i assume is normal is since 98F outside lol and the car was baked in the sun.

coolant flushed this year
new cabin hepa filter
if this isnt normal i assume it has to be the ac charge but the car is brand new i dont think it could be such a thing 36k miles

 

i went to autozone and the ac pressure was 29 psi so i added some 134a and reached 34 psi before the can ran out. I assume that much is good since its kind of in the middle of the recommended psi. outside was 82F not sure if this is still "low" but its cooling better now!
