AC question

Good afternoon to you all. The issue I am having is it takes a very long time (25 minutes +?) first thing in the morning for the AC to get going. The vents blow out warm air with the AC on and the temp set at 66. Whenever I go to lunch midday or leave work in the early evening I do not have this issue as the AC is ice cold. I normally keep the temp at 68.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your time

That's pretty cold for a setting I think. Have you tried it at a higher setting like maybe 72 for first thing in the a.m.? Maybe the AC won't work at max cooling until the car reaches operating temperature. (?)

As Marco, implies you may have a low pressure in the refrigerant system but that should not be the case on a new car.

Doesn't seem right. My '12 starts blowing cold as soon as the car starts moving. Take it in and have em check it out.

Most AC systems require the outside ambient temp to be above a certain degree, usually around 65/68, for the system to work fully. This would explain it not working well in the morning (cold) and fine in the afternoon (warmer)
