I test drove the 2016 ILX A-SPEC in Canada here yesterday. It drove okay but the rearview camera had really low resolution. I am very disappointed at Acura being cheap at it. My 2014 RDX Tech has MUCH BETTER resolution than it.

 

You're surprised a $45,000 car (RDX Tech) has better components/features than a $35,000 car (ILX A-SPEC)?

 

Hey at least the ILX's camera understands the color green.



The TLX loaner I received when my ILX was in the shop was convinced anything green like grass was actually a skin tone and looked tan...

 

Hahaha, true that! I had the TLX loaner too and I was coming out of the garage one of the mornings and I'm looking at the green bushes showing up as dry brown bushes. I was so confused how it was able to dry out so quickly. Then I look better and everything was brown. I guess the drought in California is much worse than I thought it was.

 

Considering how cheap a camera is and that I've seen better rearview camera in the Honda Fit and HR-V, this is disappointing for a premium Honda.
