New A-Spec owner checking in! Howdy

Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself to everyone.

Just purchased a super clean 05' TL A-Spec with a 6 speed manual and Navigation, with ebony interior. Antracite exterior. I absolutely love this car, it feels so much better built and refined than any car I've driven on a daily basis. It has 130k miles and is completely stock beyond aftermarket 18 inch wheels which i don't even know what brand, but it looks clean and simple.

I have owned American Muscle for the most part of my 30 years on this earth, lol.
They just have special place in my heart, mainly GM 4th F-Body LS1 cars.

My previous car that I sold to get the Acura was an 02' 6 speed Pontiac Firebird WS6. It was heavily modified with aftermarket heads/cam full suspension geared for auto crossing, koni shocks etc etc. I sold it because it was just too much car for everyday driving out here in the Bay Area, CA. I miss it, the car had so much "Soul" and street presence, but it was killing me on gas and worrying it would get stolen. They have been stolen a ton as of late out here in CA.

But anyways the Acura, I'm in love with it, and it handles pretty damn good for what it its with the A-Spec package. Its just a great "do it all" for groceries, road trips, heading out to dinner with my wife, and even hitting some twisty back roads in the early AM on the weekends out here when theres no traffic.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and looking forward to learning more about this vehicle and any upcoming events/club type events.

Welcome and congrats!! But we're gonna need to see some pics!

That's pretty sweet you were able to get a 6MT! Check out the threads on GM friction modified fluid so that the shifting will become super smooth. Also check out the slave cylinder check valve delete mod and if you really want the best feel, comptech shirt shifter and maybe some shifter bushings.

The 3rd Generation F-bodies will always have a special place in my heart. Lots of good memories and friendships from years past

Yup. These mods are a MUST for a better, more fun driving experience. GM fluid alone will make a big difference

Base 6sp + navi + ASPEC is definitely a worthy addition to your car ownership experience. Hope you enjoy it for a long time.

you got the whole Aspec package except for the wheel. The previous owner probably had it and sold at some point.

It's possible he was talking about your wheels and not your steering wheel, or he posted that before you posted the pic of your steering wheel because that is definitely an aspec steering wheel. Your ride looks great bud!

sorry for the confusion, I said most likely whoever bought the car when new was a A-spec as whole package. 18" OEM aspec was on the car and in some point in the past the previous owner decide to switch out for aftermarket one.
