Headlights are different and cant say if they are mounted the same, but the bumper wont swap over so your out of luck. Also the radio swap is a no go. Should have bought the 2016 if you liked those features lol

No and no. The 2016-2018 headlights are a different shape so you'd have to get a new bumper and grill. If you price out these parts, it would probably be cheaper and easier to just sell your car and buy a 2016. Same goes for the 2016-2018 infotainment. Stop worrying about what newer models have. Chasing that stuff is a money pit. For example the 2019 has the next-gen Acura LED jewel eyes which look nicer.

It might be possible and reasonable to retrofit your base (halogen) headlights to HID, which I believe the higher trims had.

Yes, the models that have navi have a bigger screen. Again, there would be a lot to parts you'd have to retrofit. It is not worth it. However, if you have lots of money to throw down, anything can be done. I would personally just get a car that has what you want rather than try to mod a base trim.

FWIW: Someone on the RDX 2nd Gen forums did a 2016 Jewel eye install on his 2013 base RDX. Granted the bumper shape was the same around the headlights i think and it was doable. But he did create his own custom harness for the wiring and such.

And i think I did see some one (cant remember if it was on the forum or IG) who was able to get a lower LCD screen portion/radio unit from a 2016 ILX and install it in his 2015, it was like $150 used so it was worth a shot. Not sure if he ever got it wired up though. As for the top screen, not sure. I mean anything is doable with the right harness from a junked spare car.

That RDX retrofit looks nice! It's amazing how the jewel eye headlights really upgrade the look, not to mention the light output is amazing. Unfortunately, the headlight shape for ILX is different in 2016, so a new bumper is required. I think the grill size is different too, so then you're looking at a new hood? Sounds like $$$ to me. It's interesting how the 2nd gen RDX didn't change any body panels and simply changed lights. Definitely makes it easier for retrofitters.

Sorry man, it sounds like you bought the wrong car. Does your likes outweigh the dislikes?
I got rid of my xb because the annoyances became overwhelming.

If you just replace the screen, I somehow doubt it's just going to work, as the bigger screen was used for the navi. so you also need to get the components for navi. Even the backup camera on the 2016+ is garbage. Low resolution. At least they add predictive lines, which helps when backing up into a space.

also, agree...
if you wanted that stuff, you should have bought the car with that stuff to begin with..

Very hard to retrofit that stuff into a base car, without spending an arm and a leg.

Did you also wire up the part of the tail light that goes on the trunk lid?

Does the base 2015 ILX have projector headlamps? If so, maybe you can retrofit an LED bulb in there? Probably won't be as bright as the jewel eye headlights but could be an upgrade from halogen.

^if it has projector head lights, his best bet would be to head over to Www.theretrofitsource.com to buy an HID kit..

aftermarket LED's arent anywhere close to being on the level of HID's.

the problem is; OP wants to keep things cheap..there's nothing cheap about buying the base car then trying to make it like the more equipped cars

That's how marketing works, when not available, charge more.
