TV for Wii

I picked up a Wii that I'm going to give to the kids as an xmas gift.
The problem is I don't have a TV for it as I want to put it in the kids' play room.

Three kids ages 3-6 will be playing this. What size/type TV is good for Wii? Is 16:9 worth it on Wii? Perhaps I could just find a cheap 4:3 tube somewhere. Is there anyway to make Wii play DVD?

For kids 3-6, I would suggest just picking up the cheapest tv you can. They will not care about the quality, and in the event they accidently throw the controller into the tv, you won't be set back too much

Thanks for helping me get my mind in the correct state. I imagine that I must know someone that has CRT sitting unused. I'll ask around.

Use the straps.....I don't think the Wii will play DVD's. I have the Wii on a 50 inch plasma and its pretty cool.

Cool, thats the best thing you can do for a tv for your kids. They don't need anything more. Free tv's are always cool. I have a 45" Mitsubishi projection, a 35" proscan, and a 32" toshiba 1080p lcd at my parents that I all got for free. Of course I paid for all of my tv's, oh well.
