Tivo data to usb/computer

Can i transfer data from the tivo or any dvr to my computer?

not really, because most of it is ecrypted, but you can buy a tv tuner for your pc and hook it up and record it to your pc. its tedious, but thats one way

I believe there are ways to do this. There is TiVo togo and I am pretty sure there are "hacked" software that will do this. There was a site link at avsforum.com before, but I couldn't find it.

Depends on the model. I have a Series 3 HD and an HD both allow wireless transfer (of unlocked shows) between the units & my computer, using USB wireless TiVo antennae.
