Ahhh.. I knew you stated $1799 above for the Sammy.. Didn't know about the rebate etc..
Maybe worth a shot, Sears price match policy off the start if you can find it cheaper somewhere else is basically a additional 10% off.

If you find a lower price on an identical branded item with the same features (in Home Electronics identical brand and model number) currently available for sale at another local competitor retail store, Sears will match that price plus, give you 10% of the difference. Just bring in the original advertisement to a sales associate at the time of, or within 30 days after, your purchase.
editagain: And FYI, I doubt they'll do it.. And of course CC site is down but I know everyday price at CC for the 650 was cheaper then Sears price.

I know they won't price match Amazon. And, unfortunately, CC is going out of business. But was thinking maybe you have other retail stores around that might be cheaper. Thought it might be worth a shot.

That's only about 15 miles from me. I'll give them a call tomorrow. My Dad bought it Pioneer plasma from them. Good call!

That's the 550.. Not 650.. Although, not a bad price. But I believe the 550 has a different panel then the 650.

The 850? It's nice, but I think it's the same panel as the 650/750. Definitely could be wrong, but when I glanced at the specs after it came out, they looked to be the same.

^ If the TV was cheaper than the Sammy 650/750 I could understand that logic. But the general consensus here and most places is that the Sammy is the better TV, and for the same or less $$.
Just buy the 650 and call it a day
