what are you wanting out of the TV?

p.s. I have one but you're going to have to step up your elementary questions...

what is it that you want out of a TV?
is it great picture quality?
ease of use?
on a budget?
size?
etc. etc. etc.....

if we're going down that route. Smart TV's are such a waste for me nowadays..there's SO MANY options of connectivity nowadays... i probably have 6-10 different ways of accessing Netflix on my TV Chromecast, appleTV, Samsung Smarthub, smart receiver, PS3,

seriously... why so much overlap, ya know? I'd be happy with a higher quality panel TV with no smart connectivity and just plug in a chromecast. but that's me

I bought at the time, a mid-range sony android tv.

I was on a budget and the only thing I cared for was; 55" and 1080p and had to be midly priced...So I bought accordingly...the android experience was just a bonus.

that's what I'm trying to get at!

does he care for high quality 4K picture that warrants a high priced panel?
or will he be happy with a 1080p set?

Oh quit it you two.. of course I can google it. but first hand experience beats it all unless u got a faulty unit.

I picked one up using my credit card points today. the 800C. Which one you got crabman?

I'm happy with full HD (1080) for now. No 4k content and i dont wanna deal with bad up-scaling and flickering.

I like the android option. it actually has a full fledge kit kat i think on it. my 5 year old can play android games, and playstation now games, with a wireless ps4 dualshock. He's too young for a PS right now. So it was a no brainer.

A friend told me of an app you can install on it, and you can mirror anything, ios, android wirelessly. I was sold
