anyone have experience with knock off or generic projector bulbs? I have only read a couple reviews were people commented on the replacement bulbs and I was wondering if anyone had any insight into their longevity/picture quality as opposed to pricey oem replacements. It is for a viewsonic pro8200

 

I have the same projector, great proj. I don't have any experience with replacements for that proj but I did get some generic bulbs with some other projectors, and though cheaper, they never lasted as long. You get what you pay for

 

thanks most reviews I saw were saying things like "it works and its cheap" its not cheap if I have to buy it more often well its cheap but not cost effective.


newegg has oem replacement for it btw I forget how much it was I saved it in my wishlist
