One of the recent system we installed

I went down to go put some finishing touches on this system today. The house was a new construction and does not have an owner yet. Comes with a pool w/ waterfall, small private golf course, full mahogany wood bar, over 12,000 square feet. My favorite part is of course out home theater. Thought you guys might like it.
Sorry for the low level of quality on the vids, my work camera doesn't take the greatest pics or videos in low light.

video 1 video 2
video 3

These are just a couple pictures of the house. Just a couple random ones I snapped, I didn't get any of the upstairs, but I can assure you that every detail is of the highest quality. This house will hit the market at a staggering price, but is to be expected because of it's location.

The front and center speakers of speakercrafts motorized aiming speakers. They are connected to the dc trigger of the Marantz receiver so when the receiver is powered on, the speakers drop. The screen and the shade behind it to block out the light are connected to the projector in the same fashion. When the projector is powered on, the shade and screen drop. This last picture is what the aiming speaker looks like out of the ceiling.

Oh, they remote is a URC Home Theater Master MX-3000 touch screen remote running on RF. One button powers on the whole system, drops the screen and shade and the speakers. There are two Velodyne 12" subs behind the rear row of seats. This is also setup as a 7.2 system, with the two subs.

Damn. That is some nice custom work throughout the house. That wine cellar/vault is pretty sick. The theater is also pretty damn amazing. The only thing I don't understand is why it isn't a closed room or at least a thicker shade. The one they have doesn't seem like it would be sufficient during the day.

The shade blocks out all the light. We have to adjust the height, but the builder boxed in the controls. We are just waiting for him to make the necessary fixes to give us the access. It lets zero light in from the sides. Once we make the adjustments and it drops to the floor, it will be completely dark in the room.

I'm not sure if you watched the videos or not, but if you watch video 1 you will see how there is a lot of light before the shade goes down. As it drops you can see the shadow as it gets darker. The shade stops just above the floor, which we will fix later as I said.

nice place...i guess it's kind of funny that they would'nt have a dedicated theatre room with 12k sqft...i doubt you would use that space for much else with those chairs in there...

^^ Ahh.. I didn't watch the vids. It looks like there is some bleed on the right side of the shade on the first pic. After looking closer, it actually looks like the front lights catching a little "sag" in the shade.

Well, 12k isn't quite big enough for the kids to have a dedicated puppet show room, so this room can do double duty there.

It's more of a fact that the room opens up to a view of the water. The room is quite large, there is even a fireplace off to the side. There is a sound proof removable barrier wall on a track that closes off the room and seperates into two rooms.

Can you make a "Glock Security" sign and put it in the front landscaping and snap a pic?

I was pretty impressed with them. I am not a huge fan of Speakercraft speakers. I love some of there other products, but never really thought their speakers had a great sound. These particular ones sounded crisp and precise to me.

I forget how much they cost, I can find out though. I believe the cost on them was ranging in on a grand apiece.

They actually come with a remote that controls the swivel of each speaker.
