42" lcd

Costco has a buy 1 42" 1080p LCD for $1300 and get a 26" LCD w/built-in DVD player free.

Is it a good tv? or it doesn't matter anymore with this price.

I would say that's a horrible 42" and there are much better choices.

I was just going to post this... while they are not known for quality TVs, I can see people buying something like this (or these) if say... they have a pool table in the garage or a room where people don't sit and actually stare at the TV (like a home theater), but just kinda occasionally look up to glance at a game or something. Or I can see businesses like sports bars buying up a bunch of these... (I would just cover the "Magnavox" lable tho)
