I was wondering, i have seen your awsome setups but i was wondering how you get the laptop lcds to work. i have access to a 14 and a 12 in lcd laptop screen but i was wondering how you hook it up?

heres an example

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0&category=177

13" lcd
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...5&category=177

14" lcd

You'd have to get the board to go with it....the screen i originally used was a flat panel monitor, and there is an adapter for it...the screens you have there will need some modding to make work. I'd just buy a flat panel LCD made for the car.

Depends on the size screen you want. The most expensive of them I believe is $1500 which is a 15.3" widescreen.

I'm sure there is, but I don't personally know how to do or it what you need.

You'd probably have to strip the LCD out of it's case, then get a converter to hook it up to the xbox. Make sure it's a flatscreen that supports VGA. Then you'd just snag an xbox VGA adapter and you're ready to go. Apart from installing it, that is.

be careful when buying LCDs, look at the pixel response time. Most compu. monitors are not fast enough for video and you can get smeary slow effects.
