...and I suck at it.

I've been doing our yard work for the past 3 years since we bought the house. Cutting the grass isnt so bad, I just cant take care of plants worth shit. I finally fertilized it all today, trimmed it back with a hedger and gave it all a good watering. I guess im just not fertilizing it enough cause they just havent grown as fast as I would like. I think I've given it fertilizer once a year. Guess I should step that up?

At least its beautiful out today. Getting to about 80, cool breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Love this time of year in SoCal...

 

I put down six rounds of fertilizer, one application of grubX and a couple applications of granular bug killer annually.

Once??? Poor grass.

 

I'm too lazy for yard work. I've been using the same lawn guy for the past 7 years, his prices have remained flat during the entire time.

Well, the grass I take care of, its just the plants and bushes and what not.
