Crap, still gonna need two drawers. I guess it's a good problem to have.

What do you guys use for organizing wrenches in the drawers of the toolbox? I've got 3 metric sets floating around in one drawer and its frustrating trying to find the right ones.

You may want to look up Ernst wrench organizers, they have all kinds.

The Kaisan Foam SamDoe1 showed on page one is also a nice solution.
Craftsman and Harbor freight both sell 1 style of plastic organiser that you can cut the handles off of.

If you are cheap and don't mind the look a lot of people make make tool organisers out of those wire shelving units.

You could also just line the entire bottom of the drawer with a board and put in screws. I've been thinking of doing this to my sockets (but drilling holes rather than using nails). This way you can add boards under the smaller tools to keep them from getting lost behind the large stuff (same idea as the foam really). The main issue, like the foam, is that it doesn't give a lot of room for expanding or changing your tool selection.

You could use a combination of the foam and drawer dividers to get the job done. The foam is wonderful but time consuming to get it right. It's also difficult to expand if/when you get new tools but if you're fairly set on your tools at this point, it's a great way to spend a few days in the winter organizing your stuff.

Ha! Winter! We don't have those here. The foam would be nice, but pretty impractical. I'm going to look into ordering some of the Ernst organizers. They seem to come up a lot. They just seem pricey for what I would assume is just molded plastic. And the handles are totally unnecessary, but I hadn't thought of cutting them off.

I suppose... yeah we had our first real frost of the season this morning. I was quite sad.

I'd wait for Black Friday if you can and see what Sears has on sale. They usually have some organization stuff for pretty cheap.

I'm not much of a carpenter but I can screw some planks together. Just needs a strip on the back to catch wayward screw and it will be a nice place to rebuild a carb.

Thanks and No, but I'll leave the other half sheet of plywood behind a dumpster near picacho peak, you can pick it up whenever you like.
