Whats up with RDX owners?

We always did all bathrooms on one GFCI circuit, basement/outside/garage on one, and kitchen on one. So no, I wouldn't call that normal.
Older house? Code changes all the time, so it may have been before the changes were made, but doing it the way I said is pretty universal these days (code changes are a state thing...ask Scrib ). Or some hack could've changed things after the fact which is very common.
As long as the GFCI is the first plug in your circuit everything after it is good to go.

Guys, it will possibly be a few days....
Today, I witnessed a very nice ceremony with swoosh and his family. This ceremony must take place before he gets married (in the Indian tradition). He equated it to me as being similar to a Bar Mitzvah.
I took a lot of pictures today. Tomorrow (Saturday) is the Indian wedding. Sunday is the Open House at the new house!
He has a ton of family in from India and out of town. Plus, a lot of friends coming in to Kansas City for the weekend of events. So I'm guessing he will be able to post pictures sometime next week.
I would post pictures of the ceremony today, but that is for Anil to do. He should be the one that picks which pictures get posted.
Cheers!

Guys, I thought I would give you an update....
We had a VERY busy weekend-Friday was excellent. I was truly honored to be part of this ceremony with Anil. I took lots of pictures.
Saturday was attended by almost all of the Midwest/Kansas City Acurazine group along with their spouses and/or significant others. It was a very beautiful wedding ceremony. Traditional Indian attire is so beautiful and colorful. The ceremony reminded me a lot of our Jewish services because you can't understand a word that is said! But Anil has LOTS of family and relatives in town from all over the world. So it was a glorious day!
Today (Sunday), Anil's new house was officially opened to everyone. It was another great day. The house looks gorgeous!
On a personal note, I must tell you that Anil's parents are incredible and very gracious. All of his family are terrific, very warm and they truly make you feel like you are a part of their family.
And Anil's wife and her family are exactly the same way. Everyone makes you feel so much at home and a part of their family. It was an honor to be part of this weekend with him, his wife and their families.
The food was incredible-both Saturday and Sunday. There was SO much food, and all of it tasted fantastic.
Both Classy02 and I took over 3,000 pictures. It's Anil's place to choose and post the pictures he wishes to post.
All in all, it was a great weekend and an experience my wife and I will never forget.

We all had a blast, got fat (well I did at least) and got to see some great friends get married. The house is spectacular and they made some great choices, except for the placement of our bedroom

Thanks a lot for posting updates Steve...
Guys the closing went as expected. I was very happy with the lender and the builder. Everything went very smooth. I made sure I dont use my hand the previous night for self pleasure and saved my stamina for the paper signing
The builder did not install the bath fixtures (towel hook/ring/bar, robe hook, TP holder/etc)....so most of the day went installing all the fixtures.
The weekend got even busy with the wedding and the house warming (entering the house ceremony). Even though we got the keys on the 5th we couldnt move in until the 8th. The wifey and I signed the marriage papers last year but we hadnt had our traditional ceremony. So we did it along with he house warming celebrations...it was cheaper that way haha....
I will snap some pix over the next few days and post some wedding and house warming pix when I get them from Tyler...he is trying very hard to make my ugly ass look good

You should consider finding a dealer that sells a product called mirror mate, and have those plate mirrors framed.
http://www.mirrormate.com
They basically come out, measure the mirror and then build a frame that goes on the EXISTING mirror. The nice thing is, the frame is basically held to the mirror with double-sided tape, so you can change the frame if it goes out of style, etc. Took this right after they were put in, probably the day after we closed. Ignore the ghetto blinds.

I would like to do everything on the home myself....so planning on getting some fancy wood and making the trim myself....i might put some mosiac around the mirrors as a frame....will post up pix to show what am trying to say....

I actually measured, cut and routered (good investment?) my own edges and used liquid nails to frame out all the mirrors in my place. Came out looking pretty good.
Awesome Anil. Congrats on all fronts...
and about cleaning the vanity...HA, I wish I had my own, it would be spotless. Betty's side would look like a graveyard for flat iron, hairdryer and clothes she decided she didn't want to wear.

Thanks Jeremy....
well the wifey likes it clean all the time....I like it organized and I clean it every 2-3 days....for example my vanity mirror will have some water spots and every 2-3 days when I shave, i will clean the whole damn thing....vanity and mirror.... but she will clean it every day....
UPDATE:
I sealed all the granite/crushed marble tops....then I sealed all the tiles and grouts....
next up is rainx treatment to all the mirrors/glass doors (interior and exterior). I am having the builder pressure wash all the exterior concrete once again and when that is done I will be sealing up the concrete....hope that happens before the snow comes in....
for the time being am thinking of buying a cheap rubber floor mat for the garage to avoid any fudge ups to the garage floor and will do something permanent when spring comes around....
