Looking for a Pressure Washer
I am looking for a new pressure washer. Going to be used mostly for cleaning sidewalks, deck etc but I will probably use it on my car occasionally. It will probably only get used a few times a year, but I want something that will last. I don’t really know too much about power tools, especially pressure washers. Any recommendations, advice etc?
So far I am looking at these:
1. http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/nav...512&pCatg=7095
-2600 PSI 2.3 GPM
-Honda Engine
-Not sure about Black Max Brand
-Has Sam’s Club 100% Satisfaction Guarantee so if it sucks or breaks I can take it back
2.
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...337&lpage=none
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...349&lpage=none
-What is the difference between those two??
-2550 PSI 2.3 GPM
-Troy Bilt with Briggs & Stratton engine
3.

I got a Karcher with a Honda motor at Big Lots.
I was shocked. They still had it several months later. It is a 2500PSI/2.4gps unit that does a great job and was only 250.00
It is similar to this model:

Honda engine may run a little smoother and quieter than Briggs. However, engine in these class of machines doesn't matter much. The pump will die way before the engine and then you have a nice go cart engine.
The TroyBilt machine is actually built by Briggs. Briggs licenses the TroyBilt name for pressure washers. You can find Briggs labeled machines online that are no different than the TroyBilt.
The Briggs engine on these units is what you will find on a low end Walmart lawn mower. The gas tank is very small (runs about 40 minutes when full). They are good home machines.
Whatever unit you end up getting, make sure you store it where it will never freeze. If the pump freezes you will be putting the machine in the trash in Spring.

I figured the engine wouldn't matter that much and that other things would give out before the engine, so thanks for reassuring me. Any ideas on Black Max or Work Force Brands? How hard is it to find replacement parts for these?
I don't know anything about the other brands. There really isn't much to these things. It's basically an engine strapped to a pump. So decide if you like the engine, pump, cart, and wand. The wand is pretty important. See if it feels good in your hands, does it disassemble/assemble easily, can the tips be changed quickly? Does the wand hose connect to the pump and wand without tools? In the 3-4 years I've owned mine I haven't needed parts.

Thanks for the help! I was leaning towards the Troy-Bilt, but then I just saw the reviews:

Sounds like there is a big problem getting it to start on the second tank of gas

So what do you think about this one:
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...Washers%2C+Gas
I was able to get it along with
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...er+Accessories
and
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...er+Accessories
all for a total of $250 + tax which seems like a killer deal to me. I have it set for store pick up, but it doesn't look like it will be available until Wednesday or Thursday.

I never put pump saver in mine so can't comment on if you need to. Ask me if mine's still running in 10 years
Mine came with turbo nossel. I used it once. To tell you the truth the high pressure and the turbo nossels will both carve lines in your concrete so they have limited use. They are good for reaching high places. Mine is a 2200. It's good at cleaning the pavment and stuff you want to do. I wish it had a little more power from the medium nossel to get done quicker but it does what I need.
