one... i'll be renovating my house for at least a year straight. so i'll keep it plenty active.
two... good eats was passive participation. it could only work if everyone was sharing recipes, they weren't, because most of us suck at cooking. so it was like 2 guys posting shit, and the rest of us saying thanks.

Just reading some of the threads here remind me of stuff that's on my "to do list". When I bought my house, it really didn't need anything (except applicances). After 4 years, it needs exterior paint, the driveway sealcoated, and the ceiling in the bathroom redone.
