Building Safe into home

Have any of you ever thought of having a safe built into your home as its being constructed? If so do you have any suggestions I can give the builder, of course he has some ideas of his own, but I want to make this thing hidden and a HUGE pain in the ass to steal. It doesn't need to be huge, just something I can store cash, jewelery, documents and other valueable small items.

I have a firesafe I am dropping in. I will probably put down a 4" layer of concrete with three or four 1/2" rhebar strips through it. Once it is mounted into the concrete (sunk) It will be fairly impossible to remove without a jackhammer and a spare hour or two. Part of installing a safe is putting it somewhere that someone could not easily tool it out of (deep closet corner, Under a stairwell). I am not a big fan of wallsafes nothing beats a well mounted floor safe.
