Nike Shox...anyone buy these and have comments on them?

I need a shoe that may be used for the gym, but it's mainly going to be for around town use.

I found an excellent shoe, that is extremely comfortable and looks good, it is the Air Max Tr, but every Sports Authority in town does not carry my size in black and silver. They have a 9 and a 10, no 9.5. I visited the Nike factory outlet and they have every color but the black and silver too. I looked up the shoe on the internet and I can't a place that sells the color combo and my size neither (and yes I looked at Eastbay.com). Considering, it is a fairly old shoe (one year old), I've decided to look at other nike shoes. It seems however that Nike is going alot these days with their Shox line up.

I personally don't like the look of them too much and I was wondering if any of you have them and can comment on durability and comfort. The shoe will be used the gym at times also, so I'm just afraid of the open heels snagging on something and tripping me.

Also the reason why I want black shoe is because I have no other black shoes plus they won't get dirty as fast as a white shoe which I mainly have in my closet.

I have Nike Shox for my running shoes, they are verrry comfortable and fit over my foot like a sock. I can also wear them to class or whatever, and it seems like they will last for a while. You should definitely buy a pair of them

I have 4 pairs of shox. They are great running shoes, and hold up very well. I still run in a 3+ year old pair sometimes, they feel as good as new.

The neoprene sock thing inside of some models is great, I don't wear socks half the time.

I was in footlocker yesterday and they had black/silver running shox on sale for $50.

Are yours the same color as these?? Yours seem more maroon, and these seem much more plain red??

...mine are exactly like the picture you posted... I guess the are more different combinations... though I would have loved the blue-ish pair... they didn't have any at the store I went to... in fact, I bought them the week they were "released" and those were the only ones sent out to all the stores around here... but I'm happy with the red...

I have these and were worth every penny of the $100 I spent. They are very comfortable and durable. I think I accidently scratch them on a curb or something and am always pleasently surprised to see they are fine.

Geez, they still make BKs???...lol

Anyways, I actually found what I was originally looking for but I had to drive about an hour to Vacaville to pick them up from Sports Authority. No offense, but the Shox are just too flashy for me and just don't look right after trying them on... but I did almost buy a pair from the Vacaville Nike outlet. That air max you guys have posted here looks nice and may be confortable, but they don't sell them anywhere yet it seems in Sacramento area of California.

Anyway, I got what i wanted...woo-hoo.

Yeah but if you don't buy them, instead of being underpaid they aren't paid at all. Then they form militias and start raping and pillaging, spreading fear and disease. I'm pround to support the Indonesian work force.
